These Terms of Use govern the use of the Nexusguard’s Partner Portal “ Nexusguard Partner Connect” by yourself as a prospective or active partner of Nexusguard (“User”).
1.1. The User is required to register before being able to use the Nexusguard Partner Connect and the services offered on it. Use of the Nexusguard Partner Connect and the services and contents offered on it is provided free of charge.
1.2. The User is prompted to agree to these Terms of Use during the registration process. The user confirms his agreement by clicking on the relevant button when registering and creating his user account. By clicking this button, these Terms of Use come into force and continue to apply for the entire period the user account remains active.
2.1. Conditions for access
The User is prohibited from using the contents provided on the Nexusguard Partner Connect for any purposes other than those stipulated in these Terms of Use.
2.2. Responsibility for access credentials
2.2.1. The User must keep his access credentials confidential and under no circumstances disclose them to any unauthorized parties.
2.2.2. The User is required to assure that his access to the Nexusguard Partner Connect and use of the services and contents made available on the Portal is limited to the User himself or persons authorized by the User. Nexusguard must be notified without undue delay by e-mail to [email protected] of any suspicion that an unauthorized third party has gained knowledge of the access credentials.
2.2.3. The User bears the sole responsibility for any use of and/or other activity on the Nexusguard Partner Connect associated with his access credentials. The User is liable for damages resulting from unauthorized use, unless the User is not at fault for such unauthorized use.
2.3. Cancellation of access to the Nexusguard Partner Connect
Nexusguard may, at its sole discretion, cancel the User’s access to all or part of the Nexusguard Partner Connect on a permanent or temporary basis if there are indications supporting the allegation that
if Nexusguard has a legitimate interest of a different nature in canceling the User's access. The User’s legitimate interests will be given due consideration in the decision on canceling access. Nexusguard will inform the User of an impending cancellation by e-mail and give a formal warning to the User in cases where the User is at fault for the impending cancellation. In the case of a temporary cancellation, the access credentials will be reactivated and the user notified accordingly by e-mail after expiry of the cancellation period, or upon ultimate rectification of the reason for the cancellation.
3.1. Availability
The following services offered free of charge on the Nexusguard Partner Connect are provided without any guarantee for their uninterrupted availability or specific response times, including where Nexusguard is making its best attempts at providing uninterrupted availability of the Nexusguard Partner Connect. Unimpeded access to or use of the services offered on the Nexusguard Partner Connect is not guaranteed during maintenance works, updates, or other malfunctions.
3.2. Administration of master data
To warrant a consistently high quality of data in all systems relevant for communications with the Client, Nexusguard will verify the data entered in the Partner profile by the User against information stored in the data categories of the Partner profile. The User may at any time change his details directly on the Nexusguard Partner Connect or by sending an e-mail to [email protected].
4.1. Limitation of use
Unless other purposes of use are expressly authorized under these Terms of Use, or in the Nexusguard Partner Connect for individual services, Users are only permitted to utilize the Nexusguard’s services offered on the Nexusguard Partner Connect for the purposes of their company and its employees. Any other private or commercial use of these services, making them available for commercial use or intermediary role in providing access to these services is prohibited.
4.2. Prohibited acts
Users are also prohibited from editing, modifying, translating, presenting, publishing, exhibiting, reproducing, or disseminating all or part of the Nexusguard Partner Connect’s webpages, their design, and/or data input forms. The removal or manipulation of copyright notices, logos, or other marks or protection notices is also prohibited.
4.3. Downloads
Users are only authorized to download or print contents in as far as the Nexusguard Partner Connect provides a download or print functionality (e.g. a download button).
4.4. Simple right of use
The User is granted a non-exclusive, and temporally unlimited right of use to contents downloaded from the Nexusguard Partner Connect in conformity with these Terms of Use. All rights to the contents are reserved by the original holder of such rights.
5.1 You may opt-out of receiving promotional emails from Nexusguard by sending your request to [email protected]. If you opt-out, we may still send you non-promotional communications, such as emails about your accounts, product notices, user forum notices or our ongoing business relations.
5.2 In some cases, we may not be able to remove your personal information, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why.
5.3 We will retain your information collected for a commercially reasonable period of time for us to provide services to you and to use it as stated in this Statement. In addition, we will retain your information for as long as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Pursuant to Recital 49 of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Nexusguard is classified as a security service vendor that provides security technologies and services to prevent unauthorised access to electronic communications networks and malicious code distribution and stop 'denial of service' attacks and damage to computer and electronic communication systems.
As a Data Processor, Nexusguard processes personal data on behalf of Nexusguard’s partners and customers, who in their turn are the Data Controllers for these data. These Data Controllers are responsible for the personal data of the related data subjects. Processing carried out by Nexusguard may include collection, recording and storage of data, or a combination of these. Nexusguard is a PCI-compliant service provider vendor and is also certified for ISO 27001, processing all personal data according to best practices, declaring compliance with the GDPR.
